MIGRA Project
Study of Migration through Information from Genealogical and Civil Registry Archives
The MIGRA project stems from a collaboration between CNR-IIT and the Municipality of Buti, with the participation of the Municipality of La Seyne-sur-Mer.
The collaboration aims to conduct research and technology transfer activities in the field of cultural heritage, focusing particularly on the study and reconstruction of family trees using historical civil registry records.
The case study focuses on migration from Buti to southern France, particularly to the town of La Seyne-sur-Mer, which actively participates in the project by helping to retrieve historical French civil registry records.
